Yetminster & Ryme Intrinseca Walking Group
Walking Group Walks ARE FREE and all are welcome
The group organises village walks to enable people to meet and share our beautiful countryside. It is also involved with a survey of the present condition of the Rights of Way within the Parish and is working with the Dorset Ranger Service and the Parish Council to seek improvements where appropriate. Additionally, the group carries out simple maintenance with the view to making access fit for all.

FOOTPATHS NOT BRIDLEWAYS
During the YR Walking Group walk on 2 June we were able to use the new gates, instead of Stiles, which was brilliant. This means there are a couple of short circular walks with no Stiles. Hooray!
I’ve just walked up there to take photos of the gates and found some horse poo. These paths are still FOOTPATHS, not Bridleways. They are not wide enough for a horse/pony. Please respect the countryside code.
One gate has been funded by North Dorset Ramblers Group and the other gate has been funded by Jane Jeans in memory of her parents. Many thanks goes to them.
If anyone would like to donate funds to our gate fund please don’t hesitate to contact us. Watch out for another 3 gates in the parish, coming soon.
