HAMCRATE ALLOTMENT ASSOCIATION

The Association was formed in 2024 in order to give members a voice in getting improvements carried out on the allotment site, it achieves this by acting in partnership with the Parish Council who owns the site.

The Association promotes the growing of fruit and vegetables and also supports the management of the site to promote a community spirit amongst members in order to protect and enhance the environment.

The Association encourages members to form working groups to help those people who may be struggling to keep up their plot or to maintain the general surroundings of the site.

All plot holders are given the option to join the Association, There is a £3 joining fee payable to the Association which is used to register the member with the National Society of Allotment and Lesure Gardeners, who offer the following benefits :-
