Lent continues with our next Service of Holy Communion on Sunday March 5th starting at 10am, to which all are most welcome.

You can find all other services in the Benefice in the new weekly pew sheet, or on the Benefice website

Compline: this short, peaceful, lay-led evening prayer takes place in church here each Monday evening at 6pm.  All are very welcome.  You can also join  from home via zoom, so please email me for the link.  

A new Treasurer!  Our Parochial Church Council (PCC) is urgently looking for  a new Treasurer!  If you, or someone you know,  would like to find out more please contact Geoff or me.  We have four meetings a year plus a formal AGM in April.  The work is not arduous, and we are a small friendly team.  Whether you are new to the village or a long time resident, please do come forward……You will be warmly welcomed!

Help Yourself – Excess Fruit Vegetables and dry goods:

Please come and help yourself from the Church Porch and the new cupboard inside the porch for dry goods. Hopefully this will be ongoing, depending on surplus produce.  If anyone wants to donate any fruit and vegetables please do so, leaving  in boxes provided.  Contact Sara Greenwood – 07773782052

Warm Space Wednesdays from 10am to 3pm will continue each Wednesday until Easter, and if you can spare an hour or two to help with teas and coffees and soup please contact Graham and Michaela.  Details on poster below:

Looking ahead to the World Day of Prayer Friday 3 March at Yetminster Methodist Church which will start at 10.30 am:


Coffee, Cake and Chat will be on Friday March 3rd in the Sports Club, from 10.30am to 12 midday, thanks to Angela and Grace.  Donations of dry goods and wash products for the Food Bank gratefully received.

Yetminster Film night is on Tuesday March 7th showing See How They Run starring Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan.  Tickets are now on sale at The Spar in Yetminster for £6 cash per head.  Your ticket includes a free choc ice in the interval.  Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
