Examination of the Submitted Neighbourhood Plan

Dorset Council, as the local planning authority, has completed its consultation on the submitted Neighbourhood Plan for Yetminster & Ryme Intrinseca. People were given seven weeks from Wednesday 25 August until the end of Wednesday 13 October 2021, to comment on the content of the plan or how it was produced. Concerns submitted during the consultation period were passed onto the independent examiner for consideration. The examiner, Andrew Mead Bsc (Hons) MRTPI MIQ then completed his review and produced his report on the plan. Some changes to 6 of the 26 policies were recommended and have been made.

The Referendum to enable residents to Vote on the Plan took place on the 22nd February 2022.

The vote was in favour of the Yetminster & RYme Intrinseca Neighbourhood Area Neighbourhood Plan Plan
The results of the referendum – total number of Votes= 361; Yes Votes = 348; No Votes= 13
