Hamcrate Allotment Partnership

Following extensive discussion with the Hamcrate Allotment Association we have been able to formulate an agreement that recognises the advantages of the two bodies working together for the benefit of the allotments and allotment tenants regardless as to whether or not they are members of the  association. Importantly, and whilst recognising that the Association may refer requests and concerns to the Parish Council, the agreement also provides for non – Association members to do this. An obligation is also placed on the Parish Council to undertake inspections of the tenanted plots with a view to ensuring compliance with the term and conditions of the Tenancy Agreement and, additionally, the need for an annual Risk Assessment of the site is also recognised. The partnership arrangements will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
